Namutebi Aminah’s journey is one of inspiration, resilience, and remarkable achievement. She began her incredible story at KTLC, where she joined as a 12-year-old with a passion for netball. Under the nurturing guidance of the center, Namutebi’s talent blossomed, and her commitment to excellence set her apart as a standout player from an early age.
Her skills and discipline opened doors to greater opportunities. Namutebi earned a scholarship to Kennedy Senior Secondary School, where she continued to refine her craft as a netball player. On the court, she was a force to be reckoned with, while off the court, she remained a disciplined and focused individual. These traits laid a strong foundation for her next step in life.
After completing her secondary education, Namutebi’s journey continued to flourish. With KTLC’s unwavering support, she secured a scholarship to Africa Renewal University. Here, she balanced her academic pursuits with her netball career, excelling in both arenas. As a university player, Namutebi showcased her immense talent, earning accolades and recognition for her dedication to the sport.
Among her many achievements, one of the most remarkable was being named the Best Goal Attacker of the Second Division League during the 2021-2022 season. This award highlighted her skill, determination, and contribution to her team’s success.
In addition to her success in sports, Namutebi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration. This achievement was a testament to her belief in the power of education and her commitment to making a difference in society.
Today, Namutebi Aminah is not just a celebrated athlete but also a role model and inspiration to many.
