The KTLC Netball Club is more than just a sports team; it is a beacon of hope for the girl child. By providing a safe space for girls to play, grow, and learn, the club has empowered many to achieve their dreams. Netball has been instrumental in changing lives, with several players earning scholarships that enable them to pursue education an opportunity that might have been otherwise unattainable.
THE BEGINNING OF A NEW CHAPTER
On April 28th, 2023, KTLC embarked on an exciting journey with the launch of floorball in partnership with Juko Isaac, a visionary passionate about youth development through sports. The initiative aimed to nurture budding talents, foster a sense of sportsmanship, and unlock sponsorship opportunities to sustain and grow the sport. Today, floorball stands as a beacon of KTLC’s dedication to providing diverse athletic opportunities.
MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THE SUCCESS
A skilled and committed management team drives the remarkable growth of floorball at KTLC:
– Juko Isaac, the Head Coach, is the visionary who introduced and champions the sport at KTLC.
– Kulaba Robert, the Assistant Coach and Head of Media, ensures the sport’s visibility and operational success.
– Kasoma Rodgers Dennis, the floor ball Manager, oversees the logistics and strategic growth of the sport, ensuring its sustained development.
BUILDING TEAMS, BUILDING FUTURES
KTLC has established three thriving floorball teams to cater to players of all ages and genders:
1. KTLC Floor ball Men’s Club, offering opportunities for male athletes to hone their skills and compete.
2. KTLC Floorball Women’s Club, empowering women to shine in this fast-growing sport.
3. KTLC Floorball Academy, nurturing young talents and preparing the next generation of floor ball stars.
